Chris first discovered he had a “talent” for art from his kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Filburn. 
                                                             At his eighth grade graduation, it was predicted that he would someday be teaching the
                                                             “fundaments of scribbling” to kindergarteners. They could not have been more right.
 
                                                             Chris has enjoyed working for many clients in the children’s industry, including 
                                                             Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, McGraw-Hill, Pearson Education, LeapFrog, Scholastic, 
                                                             National Geographic Learning, Sourcebooks, Oxford University Press, Zaner-Bloser, 
                                                             Evan-Moor, Mead, Procter & Gamble, and Crayola. He is known and appreciated 
                                                             throughout the industry for his versatility and reliability. 
 
                                                             In his spare time, Chris also applies his whimsical, imaginative styles to the stage, 
                                                             by drafting set designs for local theaters. He lives near Columbus, Ohio with his wife 
                                                             and two talented children.
